da Woods Bed and Breakfast features amenities that add quality to the visits of guests from all walks of life:
Fireplaces in both Bed and Breakfast homes add a special warmth.
A regulation-size pool table completes da Gameroom at da Green House.
An extensive library of parlor and board games awaits both novice and expert gamers.
Local artisan displays feature works of art for sale at da Woods Bed and Breakfast. Currently we are hosting the nature photography of Richard Sjolund's Wilderness Studio and the stained glass creations of Joni Callen.
Walk the five acres of mature oak and hickory trees and enjoy the woodland flowers, the perennial gardens, the water gardens, the goldfish ponds, and waterfalls.
Birdwatchers will enjoy the many visitors to the bird feeders at da Green House and the redtail hawks and owls nesting in da Woods. Our reports to the Cornell Ornithology Lab now count 18 bird species from November to April, when a few more appear. Binoculars are available.
Red, grey and black squirrels are a continual challenge as well as a source of entertainment as are the raccoons and the occassional possum.
Porches, and outdoor decks provide an opportunity to enjoy the grounds.
Gliders, swings and a hammock add to the relaxing environment.
Spacious yards provide opportunity for leisurely walks or a game of Bocchi Ball or Horseshoes.
Outdoor Firepits and a Chimnea bring an added charm to the Bed and Breakfast outdoor experience.
